New Quizzes Workshops Available!
On January 1st, Messiah will be enabling New Quizzes for all courses. Classic Quizzes are on their way out.
Want to get an overview and some guidance on using New Quizzes with the Dynamic Duo? Pop into one of these upcoming workshops:
- Wednesday, Sept. 22nd, at 10:10 am in Zoom
- Tuesday, Oct. 26th, at 3 pm in Boyer 222
- Wednesday, November 17, at 12:20 pm in Zoom
No RSVP necessary. For Zoom meetings, use the same meeting link and password as Instructional Design Office Hours. For Boyer meetings, we have a 9-person capacity for socially distanced seating; first come, first served.
Canvas Pro Tip:
Quick Start Guide for Students
A Canvas site, Passport to Canvas: Quick Start Guide for Students, is accessible via self-enrollment. Students may self-enroll at any time via a link on the left navigation or Help option.
We encourage educators to enroll to familiarize themselves with this timely student resource and to refer students to it, especially if they are new to Canvas.
New Quizzes Feature Request:
Show/Hide Answers by Date
In Classic Quizzes, there was an option to schedule the release of answers to students so that they could be revealed after the exam/quiz closed. Unfortunately, this feature is currently not available in New Quizzes. Please give this suggestion a 5 start rating in the community!
