Stealth applications frustrate admissions offices

Stealth applicants — or those high schoolers who submit an application to a college without any previous contact — are a mystery to admissions professionals all across the country, according to a December 1 University Business article. John Chopka, Messiah’s vice president for enrollment, agrees that the number of students who make their first contact at the application step are perplexing.
