Extended Time for Canvas Exams
If you have a student with an accommodation for extended time on exams, you’ll need to set that up in Canvas BEFORE the exam begins. This will likely be a two-step process depending on your exam settings.
CANVAS TUTORIALCanvas Pro Tip:
Check Grade Distribution Graph Setting
There is a course setting in Canvas that controls whether or not students can see “Grade Distribution Graphs” for their assignments.
If this is enabled, students can see the following statistics for each assignment:
- Mean & median scores
- Highest & lowest scores
- Upper & lower quartiles
If you do not wish students to see this information, please make sure that this setting is disabled in each of your courses.
Note: This setting is disabled for new courses, but copying from past courses overrides the default.
