About Mat Kearney
Mat Kearney is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who has released three full-length albums to date.  Since the debut of his second major-label album in 2006, “Nothing Left to Lose,” Kearney has garnered widespread recognition as a pop/rock artist.  Known for his heartfelt lyrics and easily-relatable stories, Kearney has struck a chord with music lovers—earning him a spot on the top 20 hits of the Adult Top 40 Chart five different times.  Although typically celebrated for his pop/rock touch, Kearney is also known to occasionally incorporate hip-hop and folk for a slightly different feel.  In addition, Kearney has also integrated his Christian faith into a number of songs which have received charted recognition on Christian radio stations.  Kearney’s newest album, “Young Love,” was released in August 2011 and gained most acclaim through singles “Hey Mama” and “Ships in the Night,” both of which charted on the Adult Top 40.

Opening for Kearney is recently discovered singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Kishi Bashi.  The talented solo artist performs his version of indie pop/rock through the use of several musical instruments, mainly highlighting the violin.
