March 18th, 2013

GRANTHAM, Pa. (March 18, 2013) — Messiah College is one of only five Pennsylvania colleges and universities to earn placement on the 2013 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction, the highest honor a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement.

According to the Agape Center for Service and Learning, in 2012, an estimated 98 percent of Messiah’s graduating class participated in some form of community service through the Agape Center.

This is Messiah College’s seventh consecutive time being named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll and third time receiving the honor with distinction.
