November 4th, 2014

The Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office in partnership with Pennsylvania American Water and Upper Allen Township officials announced the installation of a medication collection box at Messiah College. The new box is located at the Engle Health Center and is accessible Monday through Friday when the health center is open. The collection box program is intended to get drugs safely off the streets, keeping them away from youth and protecting local waterways.

Messiah receives credit rating of “A” from Standard & Poor’s

February 19th, 2010

Messiah College senior administrators and board members recently participated in a presentation to Standard and Poor’s to seek a credit evaluation and potential public rating of the College’s debt. We are pleased to report that S&P has granted the College an “A” rating.

An “A” is a medium investment-grade rating, considered to be a strong rating for a private college of Messiah’s size. S&P cited good operating performance, strong financial resources, and a strong management team as some of the reasons for the excellent rating.
