Hello Allison! It’s been quite a journey for you; not one you’d pick but one you’ve been very blessed thru. Thank-you for letting the Lord use your ‘earthly vessel’ to touch and move in the hearts of His children. You’ll never know how many people He has drawn to Himself through your cancer journey. God will continue to bless you as He grows bigger in you! 🙂 It’s my 55 birthday today! My vision of who He is got bigger as we journeyed a similar road 11 years ago. We were one of those families on the pediatric floor when our first born was 11 years old. Wouldn’t have picked it at the time, but wouldn’t trade it for the world. He knows what He’s doing and He picked us to have the cancer journey. If you are ever able to, check out http://www.campsunshine.com Cancer families from all over the USA come to spend a week with other families. They have a tremendous volunteer staff. The kids there would be blessed to have you volunteering for a week or week-end with them. Facilities are beautiful, in Maine. Most of the volunteers are people who have volunteered for one week of their vacation every year for many years. volunteers of all ages. you could take your mother ; ) and any other family. but be sure to apply early-the volunteer positions fill up quickly! Be blessed!

  3. Ben Says:

Great, inspirational story! Praise God for your life and what he will do through you.

  4. Melissa Says:

Thanks so much for sharing your story. I recently had surgery for a broken bone and was feeling frustrated at what I haven’t been able to do. Your story put into perspective my own injury and reminded me of all I can do and to appreciate each and every one of those things. But most importantly to remember that God really does what the best for us and is taking care of us always. You are an amazing, brave girl and I wish you many years of health, joy and success in all you do. God Bless!

  5. Susan Says:

I have been praying for you!! Your Mom has done a great job with her emails to keeping us praying on purpose! I will continue to pray for your health and your studies. You are a real treasure to so many!! God Bless you ALWAYS!
