Messiah College presents the Mendelssohn Piano Trio

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Nov. 10, 2015) — The Messiah College Department of Music presents the Mendelssohn Piano Trio Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the High Foundation Recital Hall, located in the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts. The performance is free and open to the public; no tickets required.
About the Mendelssohn Piano Trio
The program will offer insight into the evolution of Beethoven’s style and legacy. The Mendelssohn Piano Trio will present the final program of the Beethoven piano trios cycle. The Trio will present compositions ranging from charming “Piano Trio in B-flat Major, WoO 39,” light-hearted “Piano Trio in G Major, Op. 1, No. 2” and grand “Ghost’ Piano Trio in G Major, Op. 70, No. 1.”
