Enrollment open to preschoolers at Messiah College’s Early Learning Center

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (April 17, 2015) — The Early Learning Center, a licensed, quality early childhood program on Messiah College’s campus, is now accepting enrollment for children ages three through five in its preschool program. Enrollment is open to the community. The preschool program operates five days a week year round and offers both half-day and full-day programming led by master level and veteran teachers. Classroom teaching assistance is provided by student teachers, student assistants, interns and volunteers.

To enroll your child, learn more about the recently renovated Early Learning Center or schedule a tour, contact Lillian Schultz at 717-796-5043. New enrollees may begin the program July 1, 2015.

About the Early Learning Center

The Early Learning Center is licensed by the Department of Public Welfare and the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The center utilizes the project approach to learning as a key component of its curriculum. This inquiry-based approach allows children and teachers to engage in-depth investigations of a topic or idea worth studying, resulting in the strengthening of academic skills and intellectual dispositions in an authentic manner.
