Kim Phipps named a “Mover and Shaper” in Harrisburg region

January 5th, 2009

The president joins 15 other local business, community, and education leaders earning the “Harrisburg Magazine” title in 2009.

In the article, President Phipps responds to questions about her original career goal (professor of history, English, or communication); her first job (waitress); challenges at work; volunteering; challenges facing the Susquehanna Valley Region (promoting economic development and regional cooperation); and changes she would make to the region (more intentional commitment towards racial reconciliation).

The January issue of “Harrisburg Magazine” is available locally on newsstands.
