Messiah College selects 2012 class of athletes for hall of honor

Three distinguished Messiah College alums will be inducted into this year’s Hall of Honor — softball player and current Messiah assistant coach Jennifer (Wenger) Thuma ’98, wrestler Mike Helm ’00, and men’s soccer player and former Messiah head coach Dave Brandt ’85.
The induction will take place on Feb. 17.

So excited to see Dave Brandt being inducted into the hall of honor. Dave brought more to Messiah than National titles. Dave is a great example of a man that cares about his players not only as great athletes but as faithful followers of Christ. I have know Dave since our college days at Messiah, and he has humbly shown that winning is good but not everything.
