Messiah labeled as a “green college” by National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities

September 3rd, 2008

Messiah College is noted for its community garden, composting efforts, and attempts to limit paper usage.

Several months ago, the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) solicited summaries of sustainability initiatives from its member institutions. NAICU recently compiled all those findings into a website where media, prospective students, and other interested parties can quickly see an overview of collegiate environmental efforts nationwide. Messiah College is pleased to be included in this important compendium of Green Colleges.
