Alumni rely on colleges career services in tough job market

Messiah College’s career services office used to receive about half a dozen alumni requests for career services, according to Dwayne Keiffer, assistant director of career development. Last month, the center heard from 19 alums, a clear indiciation of the challenging job market. Keiffer talked to California Job Journal about the role of an alumni association in job searching on June 13.
