Speaking of Grades (from the beginning)…. a message from the Registrar’s Office:

FINAL SEMESTER GRADES and GPA information will be officially available by the end of the day Tuesday, December 19.

You may access your grades in MCSquare, Academic Life tab, Registrar Channel. Click your Degree Audit or Student Records Menu and then Academic Transcript.

Always be sure to click the “Process New” button before viewing a degree audit to capture the most recent updates to your record.

Remember, grade processing is a work-in-progress for a couple of days, therefore, you may find temporary differences in GPAs between your degree audit and academic transcript until all grading processes are complete by December 19.

If you require an unofficial printed copy of your grades, complete the Request Grades by Mail form in the Student Records Menu by Thursday, December 14 .

It’s All About That Baste

Howdy folks! We have a week until Thanksgiving and I’m so excited for our break to finally arrive. But here are some things to remember as we leave campus:

Our break is Tuesday, November 21st until Wednesday 29th.


SAB and The Office of Sustainability are collaborating for an excursion to Mennonite Central Committee Material Resource Recovery Center and Ten Thousand Villages outlet store on November 18th.

We will be leaving at 9:00 am from Eisenhower Circle and returning around 2:00 pm.

Mennonite Central Committee Resource Center is an organization that coordinates relief kits for disaster victims, school kits, quilts, and other items. Mennonite Recourse Center also take used items and give them new life through recycling, reusing, and repurposing. Lastly Messiah works with Mennonite Resource Center for move out in the spring.

Ten Thousand Villages is a Fair Trade store. If you don’t know what fair trade is sign up for this excursion to learn more. This is also a great location to purchase holiday gifts for family and friends.

If you are one who does enjoy some gentle, jingling bells at this time (silver or any other festive colour), go right ahead. However, I  will not Hear What Your Hear because it’s not quite a White Christmas for this ninth lady dancing. As is the case every fall, you MUST evaluate your advisor (Advisor Evaluation) before you can register for spring classes. The Advisor Evaluation is now available and can be completed any time. We recommend that you do the evaluation prior to your registration time slot, but NOT before you have met with your advisor.

With this job you would also work every other weekend (9:00 to 11:30pm) as part of a small group cleaning in other areas. Join the Student Activities Board on October 21 for an off-campus excursion to see the gospel and R&B musical comedy, “The Bold and the Sanctified.” A story about a black church and a white church who must combine their congregations for financial reasons, the performance depicts an array of responses to race relations within the context of faith. Featuring phenomenal vocal performances and a script written by Harrisburg radio host, Sherri Lynn, the show invites you to laugh, think, and reexamine your heart.

Home Stretch to Staycation

The week before Fall Break can be difficult. Push through the hand cramps of the five papers due by midnight, and study hard for those stacked midterms. Pace yourself, taking one day at a time. Before you know it, we will have our staycation at home. Some of you have trips planned, some are working, and some are using this time to do laundry and bake cookies. I say to you “huzzah” in all of your Break endeavors. We are nearly there.

Excursion: Knoebels Covered Bridge Festival + Rides


Searching for the perfect way to kick off this fall season? Look no further. SAB Excursions will be heading to Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA for a fun day of fair food, crafts, and rides. Every year, Knoebels hosts the Covered Bridge Festival with over 385 craft vendors and 38 food vendors. Additionally, most of the regular amusement park rides will be open as well! Caramel apples and thrill rides are just one sign-up away.

Freshmen Girls Powder Puff Signup
