February is Black History Month and Black Student Union has organized some events in order to celebrate this wonderful month. There are two events that will be occurring in the next week. The first event is a Career and Professional Development Seminar for students of color, however, anyone can attend! It will occur on February 9th, from 6pm-8pm in Boyer Atrium. There are sign-ups the day of the event so that you are able to attend the sessions of your choice. The second event of the month would be the “We Matter” Showcase, which is on February 10th, from 7pm-9pm. There will be a variety of acts performing, and there will be a special appearance from Christon Gray! There are tickets for this event, and they will be available at the upstairs office in the Union on Friday, February 3. The tickets are free!
