Homecoming Committee Openings

Save the date for Homecoming 2016, which will take place October 14-15, 2016! If you love Messiah and want the opportunity to plan one of 65+ events that take place during Homecoming, then consider joining the 2016 Homecoming Committee!

We are currently looking for student leaders and volunteers who are excited to celebrate tradition and instill pride in all members of the Messiah College community through participating in one of the following leadership roles:

Applications are due March 4th; however we will continue to receive and review applications until all vacancies are filled.

Photo Scavenger Hunt!

Looking for a fun Friday night with your friends? Look no further!!!! This Friday, February 19th at 7:30pm will be an after-hours Photo Scavenger Hunt in the library. Gather a team of 3-4 people and meet at Murray. Each team will be given clues to find and then students will take photos at each clue location. Winning teams will be awarded FABULOUS prizes! Enjoy some competition and snacks. This event is free! Hope to see you there.

Do you like free pizza?Come to the Gordon Orvieto Program Info Session on Thursday, February 18th at 5:00-6:00pm in the Union-Larsen 237 to learn more about this amazing opportunity!Spend a semester surrounded by infamous architecture and the exciting traditions of Italy! Come hear former participants describe their experiences in one of the most dramatic cities of Italy. The Gordon in Orvieto Program “hopes to foster in our students an attitude of responsive looking and listening for signs of new life in the traditions inhabited by artists, poets, saints, and mystics of the past, especially those of pre-modern Europe in Italy.” Orvieto has a “landscape of pre-modern Italy, populated by saints, mystics, artists, and poets”, which provide students with the opportunity to connect their faith to the historic arts in order to shape a humane future in the arts. Throughout the semester, there will be plenty of excursions—coordinated with course topics—to Florence, Rome, Assisi, and other towns and sites of cultural and religious importance or natural beauty.If you are interested in studying abroad in Orvieto or are simply curious and want to learn more, this student info session is for you!
