Chaplain Team Contest

We hope you all enjoyed the weekend! If you follow Messiah College Kairos on Instagram or Facebook, you might have even enjoyed a free coffee at Starbucks! To help you all better know Messiah College Ministries’ various locations and outlets on campus, we have decided to do a promotion of sorts. (Don’t worry, it’s fun, and could land you a free coffee)

Over the next few weeks, a cutout of the Queen of England will be placed around campus in different ministry locations. One of the chaplain members faces will be put over the cutout hole so that you can see our lovely smiles. A prompt will be made over social media asking you to find the cutout, take a selfie, and answer a particular question before posting it to social media and tagging Messiah College Kairos as well as #HaveYouSeenTheQueen.
ie: Find Matt at the Yellow Breeches and tell us what your favorite worship song is.
Out of the posts, five will be selected to be the winners of a $5 Starbucks gift card! What more of an incentive do you need??? We all know you’re taking selfies anyway, so you might as well take it with the Queen!

If you’re not already following us, we encourage you to do so! We don’t always encourage selfies, but when we do, there’s coffee involved.

Anatomy of Gray

Messiah College Department of Theatre and Dance is proud to present the play “Anatomy of Gray” by Jim Leonard.

This modern parable uses humor and sorrow to explore the themes of love, loss, redemption, sacrifice, and life in the face of death. The story begins with the unusual arrival of a doctor into a small rural faith-based community in the 1880s, and the conflict that this creates. Both the man and the town share the same name: Gray. At first, the new doctor cures anything and everything, but soon the town’s preacher takes ill with a mysterious plague. And then the plague begins to spread! Your talented Messiah actors and actresses are excited to share this amazing story with you!

So do you love a good story, and saving money? Then come get your discounted student tickets and enjoy a night of great theatre while supporting your fellow Messiah students!
