 Senators Tickets!

Do you like hanging out with your friends and watching baseball? Then members of the Sport Management Society have something for you. We will be selling tickets and vouchers for Harrisburg Senators games. Tickets will be for the game being played Friday, April 24th and vouchers can be redeemed for any regular season game. The April 24th game will feature fireworks immediately following the game. When you buy a ticket for the April 24th game you can also choose to enter a raffle for the chance to throw out the first pitch! We will also be selling $4 food vouchers (which includes a hot dog, chips, and a drink) that can be redeemed at the game. This will save you a lot of money!
Tickets will be sold on-campus starting March 24th and ending April 12th. We will be accepting cash, check, or falcon dollars. Checks should be made payable to Messiah College.
Where are tickets/vouchers being sold? Mon/Wed/Fri: In the Union from 5 to 9:30 pm Tues/Thurs: Eisenhower Commons after chapel from 10:30 am to 2 pm Fri/Sat: Outside of Parmer Cinema from 5 to 9 pm April 10th- @ the Falcon Hut from 3:30 to 5:30 during the Baseball & Softball games Tickets and Vouchers- $10 Food Vouchers- $4


Sign Up For Service Day!

This year, Service Day will be held on Thursday, April 16. The College will host Area M Special Olympics and is in need of volunteers – track & field or pool buddies, track & field or pool events workers, and even clowns!   There are also opportunities to volunteer off-campus.
To volunteer for all Service Day opportunities, visit our website at http://www.messiah.edu/agape. (Note: All educators and students in Created and Called for Community classes will be serving as track & field buddies and do not need to register.)

Splice Film Festival!

The 2015 Splice Film Festival, Messiah’s competitive screening for student work, announces its Call for Entries. Films can be any length or genre. You do not have to be a film student in order to submit work to the festival. Please submit online links to your film on youtube or vimeo with password information if necessary to kimbesi@messiah.edu by 5 p.m. April 8th. Final program determinations will be made by April 13th. The Splice Film Festival will be held in Parmer Cinema on April 26th at 6:30 p.m.

 Practice Your Interview Skills Online!

Want to practice your interviewing skills any time day or night?  Check out the latest technology in interviewing.  The Career and Professional Development Office would like you to check out InterviewStream.  Through the InterviewStream technology, you can record an interview and submit it to the Career and Professional Development Center to have it critiqued.  We will provide feedback on what you need to do to make your interview answers more effective.  You can select from a pre-set list of questions or you can make your own set of interview questions.  To get started, simply go to: www.messiah.edu/career.  Click on the InterviewStream link>>first time users and click the sign up now button.  Follow the step by step instructions on how to complete an interview.
