 Warmer Weather- Icy Conditions

The weatherman may be predicting warmer temperatures, but that doesn’t mean the end of icy conditions or no more potential for slips and falls. Keep in mind that temperatures above freezing through the day can result in melting of snow piles. The water from these melts often runs across walkways and parking lots to lower areas. Then as the temperatures drop below freezing overnight, these wet spots turn to ice and black ice which remain until temperatures rise again (usually mid-morning).
Don’t let the promise of spring make you careless – for the next few weeks, please continue to use caution when walking and driving, especially between dusk and mid-morning.

Spring Semester Job Openings

The Campus Events department has several job openings for the remainder of the spring semester. If you are not currently employed on campus and are looking to work 6 to 8 hours per week please contact Denise at dblackley@messiah.edu for more information. We have jobs at various times of the day. Most jobs are five or six days a week for no more than 2 hours per day.
