Welcome back! It was so great meeting with the new Ambassador team today. THANK YOU for your time and attention during all of the information today. Ambassador Assessment
The Ambassador Assessment will be made available September 7 – 11. It will be 50 questions long, and you are required to receive at least a 90% (45/50) before you are allowed to give tours to prospective students. Please review the Admissions magazine and your training manual this week so that you are prepared for the assessment next week.
Sign-up for Practice Tours
Please make sure you have signed up for a practice tour! All Ambassadors must compete at least one practice tour prior to leading campus tours on event days. If you have not yet signed up for a time, please email ambassadors@messiah.edu.
RSVP for Pizza & Soccer Game with President Phipps!
On Saturday, September 19, Ambassadors have the opportunity to attend a pizza dinner and soccer game with President Phipps. A free pizza dinner will be held in Hostetter Chapel at 5:30 pm with President Phipps, and then she will attend the soccer game with you at 7:00. Please sign-up for this event online. You must RSVP by Wednesday, September 16.
Professional Development – Mix & Mingle – September 28
Our first professional development opportunity is scheduled for Monday, September 28 from 4:00 – 5:00 in Hostetter Sanctuary. At this “Mix & Mingle” event, Mike True, Talent Development & Marketing Senior Associate, will be leading a session about tips on mingling and networking in a professional setting. Light refreshments will be provided, and you’ll have an opportunity to put your newly learned skills to practice as you meet the Admissions Staff at 4:30 pm. This will be great preparation for our Admissions events. All Ambassadors are expected to attend. Please RSVP to confirm your attendance for our food order.
