\nExtended Time in Canvas Quizzes\/Exams<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It’s midterm season! If you have a student with an accommodation for extended time on exams, you\u2019ll need to set that up in Canvas BEFORE the exam begins. This will likely be a two-step process depending on your exam setting. Check out this\u00a0tutorial<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>for details.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Respondus Lockdown Browser Reminder<\/span><\/h2>\n

If\u00a0you require your students to use Respondus Lockdown Browser for your exam,\u00a0please remember that after copying a course from a previous semester,\u00a0you must open the \u201cLockdown Browser\u201d link\u00a0<\/strong>in your course\u2019s left-hand navigation at least once to activate all settings for this new section.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also recommend that you remind students to check that their Lockdown Browser is up to date. (how to check for and install updates<\/a>).<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nUpdate for Canvas ePortfolio Users:
\nTransition to “Portfolio”<\/strong><\/h2>\n

What:<\/strong>\u00a0Canvas is transitioning from their ePortfolio feature to a new feature simply called Portfolio.<\/p>\n

When:<\/strong>\u00a0ePortfolio will no longer be available after\u00a0June 30, 2026. Portfolio is available now.<\/p>\n
