The SAMR Model was introduced by Ruben R. Puentedura in 2006<\/a><\/strong>. According to Common Sense Education<\/a><\/strong>, the stages are<\/p>\n

    • S<\/span>ubstitution<\/strong>: Tech acts as a direct tool substitute, with no functional change<\/li>\n
    • A<\/span>ugmentation<\/strong>: Tech acts as a direct tool substitute, with functional improvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Transformation\n
        \n
      • M<\/span>odification<\/strong>: Tech allows for significant task redesign<\/li>\n
      • R<\/span>edefinition<\/strong>: Tech allows for the creation of new tasks previously inconceivable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
