HELLO from Wisconsin, We are parents of Anna Walker, a guard for the Messiah Woman’s Basketball Team. Thank you for the great coverage of the games, we listen to every game and love it. Thanks again, keep up the good work!

  2. Helen Grunwald Says:

Am very frustrated because I cannot access the Messiah women’s basketball
game between Messiah and Scranton as they are playing right now. Please
    help me……thank you very much

  3. andrew Says:

yo you guys going to broadcast the softball games?

  4. Station Manager Says:

    Andrew:

Yes, we’ve got softball scheduled to air on 4/1, 4/22 and 5/1. All broadcasts are weather permitting and contingent on announcers availability.

    Thanks for asking.

  5. Tim Wendt Says:

  7. Leanne McKenzie Says:

I tried to contact your sports announcers from half time on to tell them that the women’s soccer team won in Va Beach and there was just no way. You need some link to them or their facebook page that they said they were posting on…but it isn’t your direct page!! I posted the women’s winning result yet they just kept saying please someone update us on the game!! I did!! My daughter is a player on the team Steph Andrews #6. She called me immediately after the game so my source was reliable!!! Please post their info. before tomorrows game!!!

  8. earke Says:

Sorry, I just received your e-mail this morning (Monday). I will speak to the announcers about providing a means of contacting them directly during the games. I appreciate your efforts. We’ll have Wednesday’s Women’s game at Johns Hopkins on the air. Hope you will have a chance to listen.

  9. Mike from CT Says:

Will the best sports show ever, Nick and Jeanna, resume this Fall?

  10. earke Says:

    Mike:

Thanks for the comment. Nick and Gina’s “Falcon Replay” is scheduled for Monday nights 7-8 on WVMM, 90.7 FM or http://www.messiah.edu/wvmm.

  11. J Spice Says:

Diggin the Fox and the Hound Show

  12. Bobbie Jean Thompson Says:

The last two Messiah Women’s Soccer games aired on the radio have been most difficult to hear or understand. Way too much background noise. Both announcers talking at once. Loud speaker person overtakes the broadcast. I would think there would be a more quiet place to broadcast from.

  13. earke Says:

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, Rowan was unable to provide a more quiet place to broadcast from. Our announcers were forced out into the crowd. There was also no traditional phone line available, so we had to rely on
cell phone technology to get the play-by-play back to the station. Believe it or not, it was the best we could provide from that location.

  14. Debbie Sauer Says:

3 of the Messiah coaches were on the FIRST National Championship Team.

  15. earke Says:

Thanks. I’ve passed the info along to our announcers.

  16. john biesek Says:

Cant find active link to listen to womans basketball game sat 12/18 vs Kean. boooo! from California. HELP?!! thanks, john biesek

  17. earke Says:

    John:

Sorry we weren’t able to carry the game on the 18th. All of the students left for break on the 16th, so no one was left to cover the broadcast. We should have all home games beginning with the Women’s game on January 6th, when school is back in session. Also, look for the possibility of a few away broadcasts to be added. Thanks for letting us know your interest.

  18. Carol Harring Says:

Great Game!! Thanks for bringing it to us. GO FALCONS!!!

  19. earke Says:

    Carol:

Thanks for the note. Listen for our coverage of the MAC playoffs beginning with the Women this Wednesday @ 7.

  20. kevin Says:

if your going to have people in the box during lax radio games, pls tell them to not talk, you cant hear or understand the guy calling the game. too much yelling/cheering I assume. thx

  21. earke Says:

    Kevin:

Thanks for your note. We’re working to overcome a couple of challenges: one, the press box at the LAX field is small. Two, and perhaps more importantly, there’s a technical issue regarding the transmission system we use to get the game back to the station. We are working to address the latter and hope to have noticeable improvement next Fall.

  22. Don Shellenberger Says:

The DVD player used at the Radio Station sounds like its on its last life. You should request a new one. Thank You,
    From an Alumni

  23. earke Says:

Thanks for the message. I’ll check into the health of our CD players. Are you sure it wasn’t a file from a computer or iPod?
We appreciate your support and having you listen to the station.

    Ed

  24. From an Alumni Says:

It was very disappointing the Gettyburg soccer game wasn’t covered when it suppose to be. The whole A/V Messiah sports broadcast situation is sad. Many junior colleges do better. Phones calls are not even being answer, wow!

  25. earke Says:

Thanks for your note. The game was scheduled to start at 7, not sure when you were looking for it. It was delayed over 2 hours because of lightning and storms, but the studio was staffed closer to game time. For the very latest updates on soccer and other sports, be sure to follow Messiah Athletics or The Pulse on Facebook. Feel free to email me directly earke@messiah.edu, if you have any other concerns or comments.

  26. Alumni Athletic trainer Says:

I would request, especially considering the fact that Messiah College has an athletic training education program, that in future broadcasts that the proper terminology be used to describe the athletic training profession. The proper term is “athletic trainer,” not “trainer.”

  27. Jill Says:

Hi, I’m enjoying the broadcast of the Amherst/Messiah game. I thought you might like to know that when you thought you were off the air during the half-time, in actuality, you continued to broadcast. :)

If you go to D3 Soccer they have updates on all the games being played this afternoon.

    Thanks for broadcasting!

  28. earke Says:

Thanks for the note and the “warning”. We’ll try to pay closer attention. Glad you enjoyed the broadcast.
