You guys are an inspiration. Way to go, Blessings and Peace. Keep safe and keep on riding. I expect a full report on heirloom tomatoes and basil and intensive gardening; ah, the days are getting longer. Looking forward to additional stories and highlights, and don't forget to check out the Paschal Full Moon on Friday.

Dear Karah and Ben and the other brave riders in PA. We are excited about your trip and we hope you are doing well. Keep on stretching and Ben, we hope you didn't hurt yourself when you crashed. No blood we hope. It sounds like you are eating healthy and well. I'm interested in the rice with no boiling water. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday night with your sisters. We'll be there for dinner. Do you want us to take you all out?

I'm so impressed will all of you! Your enthusiasm is contagious and you're all obviously motivated and hard working - two things I really admire. I'm excited by the idea that you might be farmers of the future. Thanks so much for your interest in sustainable agriculture and the hard work you did on my farm today!
Peace and Love,
Elaine

p.s. Karah, I'll be thinking of you on our birthday on Friday! Hope it's a great one!

Hey Tour de Farmers!
You rock! It was wonderful to spend the evening and morning with this spirited and determined bunch of folks. I hope the wind wasn't too bad for the journey today, and that you had plenty of downhills to balance that first big hill this morning.

Safe travels!
Beth and Jon and Ellis (who talked about you all day today)

Huzzah! Go Messiah!

So glad to hear you are making this trip. I did a bike tour last winter... rolled off the farm where I had been apprenticing in Kimberton, PA in November, and toured down the East Coast, then across the Gulf Coast through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas.

My teammate was fellow farmer and apprentice Tom. We averaged 40ish miles a day, fully loaded. And made a lot of stops to visit farms, friends, and family. I am gonna put the pics up on Flickr sometime this week. I will send you the link when they are up for viewing. Hope you have a fabulous trip. Be in touch if I can give you any tips at all.

Your friend the wild goose,
