Grammy-nominated saxophonist joins Messiah College for jazz concert April 30

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (March 9, 2016) — On Sat., April 30 from 8-10 p.m., Messiah College will host its Jazz Ensembles in Parmer Hall, in the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts. The concert will feature special guest Tim Warfield Jr., a Messiah College artist-in-residence and Grammy- nominated saxophonist. He will join JazzONE under the direction of William Stowman and JazzTWO under the direction of Todd Goranson for an evening of big band jazz. The program will feature standard arrangements and new works for jazz ensembles. This event is free and open to the public; no ticket required.
