Messiah College Oakes Museum offers science enrichment program for children

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Aug. 15, 2014) — This fall, the Oakes Museum at Messiah College will offer children in grades three through eight the opportunity to participate in the Curator Club or CC2—multifaceted, hands-on science programs. The Curator Club, for children in grades three through five, meets from 9:45 a.m. to noon on Sept. 6 and 20; Oct. 4 and 25; and Nov. 1 and 15. CC2, for students in sixth through eighth grades, meets from 1:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 6, Oct. 4 and Nov. 1. Schedules of topics and activities for each session can be found at messiah.edu/oakes.

The cost for Curator Club is $75 for all six activities; $15 per Saturday; or $18 for walk-ins, as space allows. CC2 sessions are $15 per Saturday for pre-registered students and $18 for walk-ins. For more information, call 717-691-6082 or email curatorsclub@messiah.edu.
