Boyer Sr. The symposium takes place Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ernest L. Boyer Center on the college’s campus. There is a $10 fee to attend. To register, visit messiah.edu.

This symposium will include a panel of principals who have successfully explored The Basic School and addresses by Paul Boyer, president of Boyer Associates; Lillian Brinkley, National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) mentor trainer; and Patrick Callaghan, executive director for elementary education for South Western City Schools, Grove City, Ohio.

This Symposium will provide principals, teachers, teacher-educators and education faculty with opportunities to consider ideas for school renewal and also to be introduced to models of implementation in the current educational context.
