Messiah College presents modern hymn-writers Keith and Kristyn Getty in concert

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Sept.11, 2014) —Messiah College welcomes acclaimed 21st-century singer/songwriters Keith and Kristyn Getty to campus Oct. 3. The Gettys will present “Hymns for the Christian Life” at 7:30 p.m. in Parmer Hall, located in the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts. All tickets are $20 and can be purchased through the Messiah College Ticket Office at 717-691-6036 or messiah.edu/tickets.

Irish singer/songwriters and recording artists Keith and Kristyn Getty are among the preeminent modern hymn composers of this generation. Best known for “In Christ Alone” (penned by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend), the world-renowned hymn has been recorded by numerous artists over the past decade—including Owl City, Natalie Grant and Newsboys—and is a classic sung in churches around the globe.
