Messiah College theatre department presents “Finding Gravity”

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Sept. 25, 2014) — The Messiah College Department of Theatre and Dance presents George MacDonald’s production “Finding Gravity” Oct. 16 through Oct. 19. Show times are 7 p.m. on Oct. 16 and 17 and 3 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 19. General admission tickets cost $10; student and senior citizen tickets cost $7. (Sept.18, 2014) — The Sider Institute for Anabaptist, Pietist and Wesleyan Studies is holding its annual fall study conference at 7 p.m. on Oct. 9 and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church, 1155 Walnut Bottom Rd., Carlisle. Messiah College Symposium explores Ernest Boyer’s Basic School

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Sept. 12, 2014) — Messiah College will host a one-day symposium examining the The Basic School, a vision for transforming education outlined by the late Ernest L. The Gettys will present “Hymns for the Christian Life” at 7:30 p.m. in Parmer Hall, located in the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts. Messiah College’s three-part Wittlinger Chapel Series addresses Brethren in Christ values

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Sept.4, 2014) — The principle of holy living is the focus of Messiah College’s annual three-part Wittlinger Chapel Series on Sept. 18, 25 and Oct. 23. Lecturers Dr. Stephen Gallaher, Dr. George Pickens and Dr. Emerson Powery will address biblical themes central to the Brethren in Christ’s heritage at Messiah College. This year’s themes include holiness, peacemaking and reconciliation. Each lecture will take place from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. in Parmer Hall at the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts.
