(April 11, 2013) —The Messiah College Department of Theatre and Dance presents the romantic musical “The Fantasticks” on May 2-4 and May 6 at 8 p.m. with a matinee performance on May 4 at 3 p.m. All performances take place in Poorman Black Box Theater, located in Climenhaga Building. GRANTHAM, Pa. (April 8, 2013) — The Messiah College Choral Arts Society will perform George Frideric Handel’s esteemed composition “Messiah” on April 28. The concert will take place at 3 p.m. in Parmer Hall, located in the newly constructed Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts. Tickets cost $18 for adults, $15 for senior citizens and $5 for students, and can be purchased by calling the Messiah College ticket office at 717-691-6036 or by visiting messiah.edu/tickets.
This much-loved work will be performed with professional soloists, including Sasha Piastro, soprano; Barbara Rearick, mezzo-soprano; Jeffrey Fahnestock, tenor; and Damian Savarino, bass-baritone and senior lecturer of voice and opera at Messiah College. Continue reading…
