GRANTHAM, Pa. (Aug. 30, 2012) — On Sept. 20 Messiah College will host the Gun Violence Prevention Storytelling Tour, an initiative of Mennonite Central Committee East Coast. The interactive presentation, “The Gospel of Jesus and Gun Violence,” is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in Alexander Auditorium, Frey Academic Building. Co-sponsored by Messiah’s Peace and Conflict Studies Program, the event is free and open to the public.

“The Gospel of Jesus and Gun Violence” will address the impact of gun violence on people’s lives, provide information about the illegal flow of guns in the United States and encourage reflection on the ways that Christian Americans are responding.
