(Dec. 20, 2011) — The Curator Club is a multifaceted science program—open to children in grades three through five on Saturday mornings from 9:45 a.m. to noon—sponsored by the Oakes Museum at Messiah College. GRANTHAM, Pa. (Dec. 20, 2011) — Messiah College will celebrate the life and accomplishments of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during a week-long event sponsored by the Multicultural and International Student Program Office, among other departments on campus. On Jan. 16, the college will host Rutha Harris, an original Freedom Singer, for a chapel on “My Journey with the Civil Rights Movement” at 7 p.m. The commemoration will continue on Jan. 17 with Kelvin Walker, the campus pastor at Nyack College, presenting on “Bringing the Kingdom: One Spirit-Led Issue at a Time,” beginning at 10:30 a.m. Both events will take place in Brubaker Auditorium, located in the college’s Eisenhower Campus Center.
