Messiah College theatre department to perform “The Comedy of Errors”

GRANTHAM, Pa. (Oct. 21, 2009) — The Department of Theatre at Messiah College will continue its fall season by performing “The Comedy of Errors,” William Shakespeare’s shortest play. The play revolves around the story of two sets of identical twins that get separated shortly after birth. When both sets of twins appear in the same town 30 years later, confusion and comedy plague the town as they go about discovering their true identities. The play will be performed Nov. 12-14 and 19-21 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 15 and 22 at 3 p.m. All performances will take place in Miller Auditorium located in the Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college’s Grantham campus. Regular admission tickets are $10 and senior citizen and student tickets are $5. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.messiah.edu/tickets or by calling 717-691-6036.

Messiah College, a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls 2,800 undergraduate students in 55 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg. A satellite campus affiliated with Temple University is located in Philadelphia.
