About the Schrag Lecture Series
The Schrag lectures take their name from the late Martin Schrag, professor emeritus of church history, and Dorothy Schrag, assistant professor emerita of music. Both held professorships at Messiah College for a number of years and participated actively in the community of the Brethren in Christ Church. The annual lectures highlight aspects of historical Anabaptism as well as its present forms and contributions.
