Randall Zwally presents guitar recital at Messiah College featuring traditional and sacred sounds

GRANTHAM, Pa. (March 11, 2009) – Messiah College will feature the talent of faculty guitarist Randall Zwally in a recital on March 29 at 2:30 p.m. in Poorman Recital Hall in the Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college’s Grantham campus. Zwally, accompanied by additional string musicians, will perform a wide array of classical, traditional Spanish and synthesizer styles including his own arrangement of “Purify My Heart” by Jeff Nelson and Francisco Tárrega’s “Capricho Árabe.” The event is free and open to the public. Messiah College brings operatic talent from New York City to Grantham

(March 6, 2009) – The Messiah College School of the Arts and the department of music will present a guest artist recital featuring Teresa Buchholz, mezzo-soprano, and Cathy Venable, piano, on March 26 at 8 p.m. in Poorman Recital Hall in the Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college’s Grantham campus. GRANTHAM, Pa. (March 5, 2009) — From March 27 to April 9 and again April 14-21, Messiah College’s Aughinbaugh Art Gallery will display senior student artwork. All of the displays are free and open to the public, on view during normal gallery hours with a reception on March 28 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Aughinbaugh Art Gallery is located on the lower level of Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college’s Grantham campus. (March 4, 2009) — The Messiah College Friends of Murray Library will hold its 14th annual used book sale beginning March 28 and continuing through April 1 in Murray Library on the college’s Grantham campus. Fourth annual youth workers conference at Messiah College offers educational tracks for youth workers and student leaders

GRANTHAM, Pa. (March 3, 2009) — Youth workers and student leaders are invited to join more than 600 other youth ministry veterans from a variety of churches and organizations on March 28 at Messiah College for a day of worship, educational seminars and networking. This fourth annual conference, themed “Roots: Deep Faith, Gracious Witness” is from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Brubaker and Hitchcock Auditoriums and Fry and Boyer Halls, on the college’s Grantham campus. Youth workers and student leaders will hear dynamic, motivational messages from keynote speaker Reggie Dabbs, a highly popular public speaker known for helping teenagers meet their problems head-on and overcome them.
