Stephen Monsma speaks at Messiah College about “Religion, Politics, and the Coming Presidential Election”

GRANTHAM, Pa. (March 5, 2008) — Stephen Monsma, author of “Healing for a Broken World: Christian Perspectives on Public Policy,” will lecture on March 25 at 7 p.m. in Hostetter Chapel, located on Messiah College’s Grantham campus. Monsma will offer a very timely presentation about religion and politics in light of the upcoming election. The lecture, sponsored by the Ernest L. About Stephen Monsma
Monsma is a senior research fellow at the Henry Institute for the Study of Christianity and Politics at Calvin College and professor emeritus of political science at Pepperdine University. Holding degrees from Michigan State University, Georgetown University and Calvin College, he is a widely recognized author whose works include “Faith, Hope and Jobs: Welfare-to-Work in Los Angeles,” “When Sacred and Secular Mix: Religious Nonprofit Organizations and Public Money” and his most recent work, “Healing for a Broken World: Christian Perspectives on Public Policy,” which will be available for purchase after the lecture.
