The Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) has granted accreditation to all three tracks of Messiah College’s M.A. in Counseling program. CACREP is the national accrediting agency for graduate-level degree programs in counselor education that demonstrate prescribed levels of academic and professional excellence.
“CACREP accreditation not only distinguishes Messiah’s M.A. in Counseling program with employers and licensing boards, but it can also streamline significant opportunities for our graduates,” said Dr. John Addleman, director of the graduate program in counseling. “We’re pleased to be able to provide this type of national recognition for our program’s faculty, students and alumni.”
