Educator and students conduct archaeological fieldwork in Cyprus
August 13th, 2008
Three seniors and professor David Pettegrew continued excavation work at the Pyla-Koutsopetria Archaeological Project on the southern coast of Cyprus earlier this summer. International teams of students and professors uncovered small trenches and a fortification wall that point to a settlement from around 600-100 B.C.
Faculty and students recorded their findings and experiences in a series of blog postings.
The results of the season will be posted on the PKAP website.
