Tina Prins `93, president of Stratega Marketing, is one of central PA’s “Top Forty Under 40” according to Central Penn Business Journal. The award is based on commitment to the community and professional excellence.

The office of multicultural programs has coordinated films, cultural celebrations, and speakers to encourage conversation about Latino communities locally and abroad while celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

Starting in 2008, Messiah will offer a men’s and women’s intercollegiate swim team! With excellent facilities and a nationally-competitive athletic program, the College anticipates an outstanding start to this new program.

“Messiah College is deeply committed to being a community and educational resource in the city of Harrisburg,” said President Kim Phipps in response to the news that the college’s Harrisburg Institute received a $630,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice to expand mentoring initiatives for at-risk youth.

Messiah’s David Weaver-Zercher co-authored “Amish Grace: How Forgiveness Transcended Tragedy,” a book that explores the religious beliefs and habits that led the Amish to forgive so quickly after the tragic Nickel Mines school shooting, will be available Sept. 21. Read an expert from the book.
