Fewer Than 2 Months

On May 17, 2008 I am going to walk across the stage, shake President Phipps hand, and hold my diploma in my hand. I’ll officially be a college graduate.
It’s really difficult to believe that in under 2 months my academic career (as far as I am planning) will be done with forever. I won’t sit in another classroom again, take another essay exam, or have a group meeting at 11pm. I am both excited and nervous.
On May 17, 2008, I will also be turning 22. Somehow it’s kind of neat that I will be celebrating graduation and my birthday all on the same day. I haven’t decided if graduation is going to take away from the fact that it is my birthday, or add to it. I suppose it will be a gift to myself in the very least.
