6 Months Later…

Wow, have I really been absent for 6 months? I wish I could explain to you some incredible reason for my disappearance. I could go into details about my trip around the world and share about all the interesting places and people I saw. Though, sadly, nothing of the sort happened.
The 6 month gap you see between this post and the previous accounts only for my inexcusable lack of responsibility. I wasn’t pulled away by a life-changing event or have any other wonderful explanation. In fact, I never even left campus. I was here, working in the Admissions Office, all summer. What a perfect opportunity to write about Messiah and its own unique culture right here on campus. An opportunity lost.
I debated on whether I should keep my earlier posts or delete them, and in doing so delete the fact that I was negligent in my blog’s upkeep. While it may put a bad mark on my rep I hope you can overlook this blunder on my part and perhaps find some interesting, and useful, information contained in my early blogging days.
Having said all of that, I hope at least some of you will be happy to hear that I am going to be continuing my blogging from here on out. Expect to see posts from me at least twice a week now. A little pre-warning however, I will be away from Wednesday to Monday due to Fall Break. Do not take this as my 2nd disappearance. This is an institutionally declared break, and I’ll be taking one whole-heartedly.
So, for now, enjoy the fact that yours truly has returned to the world of blogging. Try your best to hold back the tears. You’ll find me back here once again, a week from today.
