We are running what we’re calling Chat Week over on the MCSquare Groups. Each night from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. we get together in one of the the “School of …” groups and just have some open and enjoyable discussion. We have made it through two nights with good turnout and have 3 more to go. We’re happy with what we’ve seen so far and encourage you to join us if you haven’t done so yet!
This has gotten me thinking however. I’ve been struggling with coming up with ideas to increase interaction here at my blog. I want some good posts and responses to occur but as of yet, haven’t really figured out what to do to get a good turnout on my blog. First off, if you’re reading this now, this is encouraging to me. Please let me now by just posting a little something in the comments box. It doesn’t take long. It lets me know there’s people out there.
With that said, I do believe there are people reading this blog, besides yourself, and I want to get to know you. I was thinking, what if we had some kind of “Chat” here. Im not sure how I would implement that or make it work, but I am going to think about it some more. If you have any suggestions, I would be glad to receive them!

Fear not, you are not alone. Though I more or less found this site by accident. Are these blogs advertised at all on the Messiah website? I only know about it because of Eldon’s Spiritual Formation blog.
Your mention of the groups on McSquare made me curious and so I started poking around over there. What are these “School of …” groups?
Ali,
First off, no, these blogs are not advertised on Messiah’s website. Right now they’re in development and getting everything set up. I am the Admissions Webmaster here at Messiah so I have been writing for prospective/accepted students and just letting them know my blog was here. We should have several blogs up and running (and advertised) by the fall.
Secondly, the Groups Chat is a thing for newly accepted students who are coming to Messiah in the fall. I am not sure if you’re one or a current student, but the groups are available through MCSquare which allows us to post announcements, talk on a message board, post pictures, and more. The groups are broken down by schools (School or the Arts, MEB, Humanities, etc.).
