One of the greatest things that students enjoy doing at Messiah College, is Rec Sports. See the thing is that if you win for whatever sport you participate in then you are awarded the coveted Rec Sports T-shirt. This isn’t any T-shirt. It equates with status, prestige and pure athletic awesomeness. Just kidding, but seriously, Messiah kids are crazy about Rec Sports. You don’t have to be super talented, all you need is a few friends down for a good time and some friendly competition. Each new season offers multiple sports to join. Right now softball, soccer and frisbee are starting up. During the winter there was volleyball and basketball, just to name a few. It is a guaranteed good time for all to enjoy. So if you like sports and aren’t interested in the varsity or club level, get pumped for the quest for the shirt!
