Educators explain value of school reform and renewal

April 8th, 2009

“We should work for change that models our natural world and connects the needs of our students to an innovative, dynamic educational system. This can only be accomplished by building on the success of these programs and designing a model that empowers all persons involved in schools to become imaginative, active educators, willing to do what is best to ensure the education of the child,” write Messiah educators Don Murk and Craig Dalen in an April 8 Harrisburg Patriot-News op-ed. The opinion piece asserts the need for comprehensive school reform.
