College-sponsored conference on race, education, and faith was “impressive”

The Ernest L. Boyer Center is lauded in an opinion piece by Catherine Meeks for facilitating an “impressive” conference on race, education, and faith. Meeks is the executive director of Aunt Maggie’s Kitchen Table, a community resource center and outreach program located in a public housing development in Macon, Georgia. As she writes in her opinion piece, published Oct. 8 in the “Macon Telegraph,” the answer to the question, “Can we talk about race?” is a resounding “Yes.”
