about the blogger
August 8th, 2007
Mackenzie is a super-senior art and English double major. She spent spring 2007 in Orvieto, Italy, learning to speak Italian, understand Italian Renaissance fresco cycles, woodblock print, stone carve, and not panic in times of stressful international travel.
This year, she completed her senior art exhibit and her English honors project (a set of poems). She looks forward to completing her college career, albeit a semester late, and someday completing grad school.
She updates this blog every Thursday.

Mackenzie,
Great thoughts.
Thanks,
Chris
Dear Mackenzie~
Regarding the aforementioned ice cream cone I plead your indulgence. My niece attends Messiah and I would like to send her and her and a few friends a gift certificate for good coffee and maybe ice cream - ok well I am trying hard for the tie in - Messiah doesn’t offer a general - contact us for great coffee locations off campus - email. Would you be so kind as to recommend something close to campus - really great coffee and nice atmosphere? Enjoyed bombing around your blog! ~Lori
Dang straight! We raise ‘em right, here at Messiah!
Cornerstone Cafe is a great place in Camp Hill, about 15 minutes from campus, and a great place to buy outrageously many kinds of tea or coffee (but not really a coffee shop) is One Good Woman in Lemoyne. I don’t think Cornerstone has a website, but One Good Woman does (http://www.onegoodwoman.com/). Thanks for stopping by the blog! Let me know if you have any more questions.
