That’s right, I was born on the same day as George Gershwin, ironically so, being that I am far from a musician. I spent the week doing homework and school projects, and meanwhile completely forgot that my 21st year of life was just around the corner. Even though I am the last of my friends to turn 21, I am really starting to feel old. I feel the oldest on the mornings I have to get up at 6, then again I’ve felt 50 years old at 6am since I was 12 years old, so maybe that’s not a good example.

My age really started to hit me this summer when the job/graduate school hunt began. The thought of being out in the real world does freak me out a little, however the thought of more school sounds just as bad as a root canal. I guess that my choices for post-graduation really rest in God’s hands, and I have to come to grips with that.

My birthday has been a good one thus far, the ever traditional-apartment-mate-dance-party-at-midnight of course, my lovely roommate making me breakfast, a bouquet of flowers sent direct from New York, grazie alla mia famiglia. I am looking forward to dinner in Harrisburg in a few hours, as well as Michael Buble in about a week.. for those of you who enjoy him, I’ll be taking many, many pictures, and for those of you who are rolling your eyes.. sorry. =)
I am thankful for another year of life - truly I am.
