An interesting film from Kenya
Here is an intriguing piece on a short film shot in Africa about poverty in the Kenyan slum of Kibera in Nairobi that’s home to around one million people.
Kibera is named after the Nubian word for ‘jungle’, and the film about a teenager torn between crime and his passion for music has already won 7 international awards.
It was produced by a young American, Nathan Collet, who is trying to tell the stories of the poor in Kenya. Watch it!
