Welcome Week
Well, after a good summer break, everyone here at Messiah is getting ready for Welcome Week, which begins this next Thursday. I’m mostly ready to begin, but of course, there’s always a few last minute things that you can’t quite nail down until classes begin.
I spent most of my summer teaching a grad class at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, so I was away from Grantham. Coming back to campus was refreshing, seeing everyone again.
I uploaded some photos taken of me building a sample installation in my AAU class to my Facebook page. You can check them out at:

Here’s a few photos of a short trip I took to Angel Island. It was a lot of fun!

Here’s a few snaps of a mini-retreat I did at Carmel-by-the-Sea (no I didn’t see Clint Eastwood!)

p.s. Sorry I didn’t end up posting any photos or videos from the CIVA conference last June as I had planned to do. I was so busy with the conference that I didn’t really get to spend much time leisurely shooting it. And what I did get didn’t turn out to be all that visually exciting.
