Harrisburg Institute residents join neighbors for potluck turkey dinner

Senior Public Relations Team
Just days before the Thanksgiving holiday, residents of Messiah’s Harrisburg Institute joined with neighboring students from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and The International House to share a Thanksgiving meal in the Hardwood Lounge of The International House. More than 60 people enjoyed the casual holiday feast.
The potluck Thanksgiving dinner is just one of several events that has brought students from the three institutions together. Being located only a block or two apart, the institutions have collaborated to provide opportunities for their students to experience the benefits of city life together. This fall, they also coordinated an international film festival.

About the Harrisburg Institute
Messiah’s Harrisburg Institute, 28 Dewberry Street, provides housing for 25 socially-conscious and servant-minded students who are interested in an urban living experience or who are working, interning, or student teaching in Harrisburg. The students take classes at Messiah’s Grantham campus.
